Lambton Baby Point

Ravine Living at Its Toronto Best

About Lambton Baby Point

Lambton Baby Point is a hidden gem in west Toronto, a neighbourhood of stately homes perched above the Humber River valley. Baby Point itself is a small, exclusive enclave on a promontory overlooking the river, with winding streets of Tudor, Georgian, and Arts and Crafts homes dating to the 1910s and 1920s. The area takes its name from James Baby, a prominent figure in early Upper Canada whose family owned land here in the 18th century. The Lambton portion extends west toward Scarlett Road, offering a wider range of housing from brick bungalows to renovated detached homes. What unites the neighbourhood is extraordinary access to nature: the Humber River trails wind through deep ravines just steps from residential streets, and Lambton Park provides sports fields, a golf course, and a community centre. Jane Street and Dundas West provide local shopping, while the area is a short drive or bus ride from Jane Station on Line 2. This is a neighbourhood for people who want ravine beauty and village quiet within the city.
